Cold calling scripts surely can make a sales associate sound like a robot. However, I still do think that scripts should be used to train sales associates and foster sound knowledge regarding company objectives. From that point on, I believe it is in the power of the sales associate to learn about the prospects, and create a lasting relationship with them in order to promote sales. Figuring out what is costing their organization money and what their unidentified needs are is crucial to making the sale, and these can only be identified after creating a relationship. Great article Frank, always a pleasure to read and thank you for sharing!
